With summer in full swing, here at Shimmering Ivory we are delighted to share the Asian-fusion wedding inspiration from our recent collaborative shoot featuring Pantone’s colour of the year, Viva Magenta. The Langham Hotel, sitting at the beating heart of London’s luxury fashion district, provided the perfect backdrop as the ultimate luxury wedding venue. Contemporary British styling combined with Asian bridal elements pushed visual boundaries, the bespoke wedding gown created by Shimmering Ivory came to reflect the true meaning of bridal couture, creating a fashionable identity by balancing modern elements with tradition.
The Shimmering Ivory team designed the two couture gowns as a symbol of feminine power and beauty. Reflecting the essence of the modern bride, combining jewel toned floral prints with sculptural design the bespoke pieces complimented the surrounding the lush fauna. The gowns were tailored to harmonise with the sweeping marble staircase in The Langham foyer and to match the oasis created by the florals and table settings in the hotel's conservatory. Complete with rich shades of magenta, and softer toffee-coloured roses, the team combined a traditional bridal lehenga, with a high-fashion headdress and stunning Shimmering Ivory couture. Shimmering Ivory’s focus on original designs and bespoke couture wedding gowns enables a creation which can stand alone as a work of art, whilst complementing the surrounding details.
